Welcome to Claire Lloyd Talking Therapy

 

I know that reaching out for help takes courage, especially at a time when we perhaps feel our confidence is low and we don’t feel ourselves. Perhaps its helpful to realise that most of us will struggle with difficult and overwhelming feelings at some point in our lives.

 

Often it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly why we feel as we do, making us confused and disorientated. Sometimes we know or half know the reason why we are feeling a particular way, perhaps due to trauma from the past. Alternatively we can also feel numb and unable to feel anything and are disconnected in an attempt to avoid more hurt. Whichever feels true, underneath our feelings are present and show up as anger, sadness, anxiety, panic, fear or shame. They affect our relationships, our work, our motivation our physical health and even our identity.

Talking can be helpful, but it's hard to do sometimes with those closest to us for fear of judgement or not being taken seriously or even feel like we are burdening them.

 

I offer a safe and confidential space for you  to explore what's holding you back and making you unhappy or unfulfilled. Together we get to understand and then know your story, knowing your individual truth makes change easier and possible.
